Team Martin braved the cold on Sunday, January 26th at Cooley Law Stadium for the 2020 Special Olympics Polar Plunge. Every year, 30 Polar Plunge locations across Michigan host thousands of jumpers to raise funds for 23,000 children and adults with intellectual disabilities to participate in year round sports training and athletic competition. Additionally, the money goes toward health and wellness programs that provide physical examinations for these athletes along with anti-bullying programs. The Polar Plunge raises over $1.2 million annually for Special Olympics.

We are pleased to report Amy Richter-Perkins and Jill Green represented Martin Commercial Properties and raised $4,800, and their team “Fancy” raised $12,500. Overall, the Lansing Polar Plunge raised $86.8K for Special Olympics Michigan, exceeding a goal of $65,000. Thanks to Jill and Amy and everyone who made donations. We are grateful for this opportunity to support the community as we strive to make meaningful impacts in the Mid-Michigan area.
