Martin brokered the long term lease of 211 MAC Avenue, a 1,677-square-foot store front formerly home to Mackerel Sky on March 12, 2020.

The landlord, Metzger Realty Company, was represented by Senior Associate/Retail Advisor Amy Richter-Perkins in the transaction. “We are happy to have found a new tenant to take occupancy of the building so quickly,” stated Ms. Metzger. “There are no similar restaurants operating in East Lansing, and I expect they will be well received by the community.”

Established in 2014, For Crêpe Sake is a counter-service restaurant featuring a full menu of sweet and savory crêpes, fresh salads, smoothies, and Zingerman’s coffee. Gina Mudrey, who has owned the business since 2018, is excited to bring the downtown Lansing favorite to East Lansing.

“We’re looking forward to For Crêpe Sake becoming a staple in the East Lansing community.” Mudrey said, “This location, being on MAC, across from campus and in the heart of downtown is ideal.” The new location is expected to be open later this summer.
