Martin Offers 16 Acres for Innovative Mixed-Use Development in Haslett

As we continue to push the envelope in 2021, we’re excited to share that Martin has offered 16.5 acres of land for mixed-use development next to a new independent living 10-acre redevelopment project in Haslett, Michigan. The redevelopment, located at the southwest corner of Marsh and Haslett Roads, is zoned for residential and mixed-use projects.

Chris Buck, Senior Managing Director and COO, says that Martin is working to create a “village-like experience” in Meridian Township during a time of growth in an area that has called for more housing. The 16.5 acres that Martin has offered significantly facilitates the introduction of living options in Haslett as mentioned by Ron Styka, Supervisor and Board Member of Meridian Township.

“Martin continually brings dynamic, innovative ideas rooted in community,” said Styka. “We are pleased to consider their insights as we work toward repurposing this prime corner by bringing much-needed housing and redevelopment to the Haslett area.”
