We’re excited to see that the part of the $600M McLaren Health Care campus opened on Sunday, March 6! The campus, formerly located on 401 West Greenlawn Avenue near South Washington Avenue, is now located off of I-496/US-127 at 2900 Collins Road in Lansing.

The new seven-story hospital features 240 beds, a level three trauma center, a certified primary stroke center, outpatient care facility with endoscopy and cardiology centers, and more. The Karmanos Cancer Institute, a 46,000 SF facility, is a partnership between McLaren Greater Lansing and MSU Health Care. The McLaren Health & Wellness pavilion will be unveiled this spring.

Phil Incarnati, president and CEO of the McLaren Health Care system, spoke about the significance this opening.

“The possibilities of a greater partnership between McLaren and MSU combined with a common vision for healthy communities led to the creation of this new, next-generation health care campus. With nearly 900,000 square feet of new inpatient and ambulatory care space, this project is the largest capital project in our system’s history and one of the largest single investments in the health of the greater Lansing community ever.”
